Haitian American Christian Leadership Association (HACLA) The Haitian American Christian Leadership Association (HACLA) is a nonprofit evangelical organization based in the United States, dedicated to serving individuals and families in need through education, community service, and Christian compassion. Our mission is to bring hope, guidance, and practical support to people facing life’s most difficult challenges. We assist the homeless, those suffering from hunger or malnutrition, and families dealing with domestic violence or relationship problems. HACLA offers counseling and emotional support to individuals going through hardship, as well as assistance to immigrants without legal documentation who are experiencing difficult circumstances. We help elderly individuals without family support, those with health challenges, and people in need of legal aid — referring them to qualified attorneys for professional legal guidance. HACLA also supports people recently released from prison who are completing community service, helping them reintegrate into society and rebuild their lives. We reach out to individuals battling alcohol addiction, mental health struggles, or suicidal thoughts, offering encouragement, counseling, and professional referrals. We assist people who have difficulty managing their anger or controlling violent behavior, helping them find peace, self-control, and positive ways to handle their emotions through counseling, faith, and mentorship. As an evangelical Christian organization, we provide spiritual support to those facing divorce, separation, or family conflict. We also work with children and young people to help them stay away from bad influences, abuse, and gang activity. Our members serve voluntarily and without pay, motivated by love, faith, and compassion. However, we continue to seek financial support and partnerships to sustain and expand our mission. HACLA’s outreach extends beyond the United States — we serve people in need around the world. As a human rights–based NGO, we are committed to uplifting lives, restoring hope, and building stronger, faith-based communities through service and the message of Christ....
